You don't have to film yourself and share what you hate on social platform

An Anime convention just recently wrapped up in my town, in fact it is now one of the biggest one. I would not say the specific kind, but I did have experience selling my artwork in the event. In fact, I debuted my first ever cosplay in there! I tried my best!

For me, I've always had fun attending the convention. Although the crowd is a lot and the heat is something I'd usually complain about but other than that, it was such a great time to catch up with fellow artist and anime/games fans!

However, when an event got so big, it means that it will attract a lot of more wider audience. This is inevitable, no matter what. I'm talking about the people who wanted to attend the event not because they love it, but because they wanted to "join the fun like artists and fans going".

There has been a rise of content hate about the anime event itself, and basically how they just filmed themselves while sharing what they hate about the event even saying something rude about people just enjoying their time. Of course like any other hate content on social platform, this gets more attention than the others.

And there has been even another content to counterpart the hate content, saying that maybe "normies" should not attend this anime event at all.

Now I want to bring up a different approach and reframe: The shortform social media content allows anyone to act as if everything should do and act according to what they believe it should. This is why, I hate the influencer content and culture.

If you feel like you don't fit in into a convention, consider not attending the next one and you can always leave early. No one is restricting anyone to just stay for hours if you don't like it. And people would be so much happier if you just respect others too.

For example, I am an anime-style games fan and there are multiple times that I would say I would not attend the next convention because the heat was unbearable.

You don't have to be a fellow anime fans to respect people. It's an ettiquete

I hope you enjoy this more spontaneous post! And I'll see you on the next one!
