Robynbird Garage Side - The Blog

What will I do today when I know whatever I'm doing will turn into a great day?

This will be my semi-daily blog post based on my "What if Everything Goes Right" series. So let's get going!

When I know everything will go right today, I will keep working on the knitting socks part and just take my time doing it. I love the act of repetitive knitting just calm me down. And I believe that knitting socks would allow me to also get off social platform more, and also I love socks!

When I know everything will go right today, I will work on the cleaning-up of the music a bit more, then work on the GB-Studio prototype for the music integration. I can keep the pixel art rough/sketchy for now just to get the overall music-to-game look feel!

I'll be honest, I have been putting off working further on this little project because I was afraid that I'd disappoint someone else. I know that I'll be proud of it, but I had this nagging feeling of 'if someone else thinks otherwise, then something I'm doing is wrong I'll have to keep going making better work'. But this time, I want to show up and work on it again.

I've been talking about how the idea of disappointing former mentors, teachers, or any figures in the past are like confronting the shadow figure of the these people of the past. The idea is, the person is not exactly the same person as the one we imagined and experience in the past (as people change and evolve for the better or worse), but we still had to confront this fragment of shadow figure.

So what is my plan of action after posting this blog post?

If I know that my music-making journey will turn out great, I'll definitely show up to:

That's all for my blog post! I'll see you on the next one!
