Robynbird Garage Side - The Blog

The Future Direction of my Bearblog

I've been recently thinking this a lot when I imagine this question:

"What would I do and make if I can create on the platform that exactly what I wanted, with no BS"

It gives me with such a good thinking. My first thought was that I'll be writing and posting as much blog as I wanted in this Bearblog platform. With the "Search Bar" implemented, people can easily search any keywords of the title with no BS too. I wanted to give similar feeling of 'searching and discovering' like the good ol' internet search where we were not shoved with AI slop summary.

Then it got me to the point:

I wanted to build the habit to not immediately click on AI summary. So every time I wanted to search something, I wanted to build the slow habit of going to this bearblog of my Side Garage, and try to make my own summary of my finding based on human-written resources like Wikipedia.

I really want to bring back the times in my English class where we would manually determine the main point of the human-written article and make my own summary, with footnotes references and all. I believe that, it can be trained like a muscle. Build a habit from little things, and hopefully this will be my own personal library of resources too.

This will be written by one person, which is me. It will take time to make a massive library, but it will be worth it for me and hopefully the future generation to fight off the enshittification of a bigger platform.

And hopefully, future young and curious ones would find my own blog like an inspiration to them too.

Thank you for reading this blog entry, and I'll see you the next one!
